This little “trench” skirt has been a major compliment magnet, both in-person and on Instagram stories! I had received it as a fit sample from Chicwish, who was considering making it in more extended sizing. I got to try it on for fit feedback, and am happy to share it’s now available for pre-order!
Chicwish items ship globally from Asia, so plan to wait at least two weeks from the shipment date if you select free shipping. Their items can vary in quality, but this skirt is a win. It’s a unique little design made in a good quality material, which feels weighty and doesn’t wrinkle. It has a lining, horn buttons, an invisible back zipper, and a removable sash belt. The XXS (measures 24.5″ at the waist and 31.5″ at the hips) fits very well on me, without any alterations needed! Sizing runs small compared to American brands, so definitely check the waist and hip measurements for every size, listed on the webpage.
It’s never too early to stock up on layering tees in preparation for winter! Uniqlo makes some of my favorites, like this skin-toned Heattech tee which I conceal under sweaters and tops for extra insulation. I recently picked up this ribbed tee, which is thin enough to layer but can also be worn as a standalone top. Note the sleeves of an XS are pretty long on me, so I usually wear them either rolled or pushed up. I’m a big fan of the mock neckline, which is warm and elongating, but doesn’t “choke” you!
